NORDIC WATERCOLOUR MUSEUM

The Nordic Watercolour Museum is situated far out in the Swedish skerries on the isle of Tjörn north of Gothenburg. Apart from the exhibition areas the museum consists of a restaurant, workshops, a conference hall suitable for dance and theatre performances, studios, administration offices and a museum shop.
Set apart from the museum by a narrow sound but connected by bridge are five artist’s studios.

Following the inauguration the museum has been awarded a number of distinctions. The project has been reproduced in numerous architectural magazines and books and exhibited in various European countries.
